Pray for a Safe Journey

Greetings! For anyone who is visiting our blog today, please keep Sister M. Alexandra and Sister M. Beata in your prayers today as they make their transatlantic journey to the Motherhouse in northwestern Germany!

May they travel with the angels and get settled in to the very birthplace of our "Franciscan Way" of life.

Wait till they see the beautiful mural of Christ the King Church, as Sister M. Beata has shared with you in Sunday's post. But first... the Sisters will receive a welcome from our Sisters there as they drive through the front gate.

Bon voyage, Sisters! We can't wait to hear about your time in the Motherhouse!!!!!!

Dear Sisters!
What a wonderful way to communicate your love of the merciful Christ!

God bless all your Sisters and those in the invitation meeting in Germany, too!

Look forward to reading great progress from 1 Franciscan Way!

By the way, who's caring for the formation Sisters in your absences?

Please remember my family and me in your prayers before the Blessed Sacrament? Thank you!

Days of Abundance!

August 2 and 3 brought great joy to our community as we welcomed three new novices, celebrated the first profession of four sisters and the final profession of six sisters.  While the number of people gathered in St. Mary's Church was certainly smaller than we would have liked, we were blessed by thousands who joined the livestreams to join us in giving thanks to God for the gifts of our sisters.   Visit   www.altonfranciscans.org/feastday   to view pictures and videos of the occasion.
