Sister M. Benedicta shares about formation in the Novitiate and receiving a new name. Check out Vocation Story - Part II below!
Today, on the Feast of the Birth of Mary, our new postulants entered the postulancy of our American Province of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George! We thank God for the gift of these vocations. Pictured above - on their very first full day in the convent - are (from left) Ashley Vola, Samantha Goodson, Miranda Edgar, Jennifer Clark and Erin Leis. Welcome, Postulants! We Sisters are grateful that you have accepted Christ's invitation to belong totally to Him in our Franciscan community, and we support you wholeheartedly with our prayers and help! If you would like to send a word of welcome and encouragement to these new postulants, we will pass the greetings along to them. Just leave them as a "comment"!

Again, I must tell you how absolutely beautiful the music is behind the message. Sister Benedicta your message is, as well, beautiful to the soul and should no doubt touch many hearts. Is it possible to ever hear the sisters sing? Praise and thanksgiving to all the sisters submitting to this blog for sharing your lives.
Where are all the convents in the USA? Asking to see if you have web pages for the different apostolates, missions, Community houses of Sisters and how they witness your Franciscan spirituality.
How small is your smallest community, your largest collection of sisters living together?
It would be nice, I am sure, to be able to go pray and watch and talk to the sisters in all of our areas where we live in the US.
Sister M. Benedicta, are there houses of the FSGM's in Canada?
What is the Chapel mosaic meaning at the end of this video?
Thanks!
